Some finals are over, and only a few to go. I was recently hired by the IT department at the University of Oklahoma. I will be assisting those with computer problems via the phone. I am excited about this new chapter of my life. I am always looking forward to gaining better "skills".
God has always been faithful, but why does he have to be so gracious in doing it. I give my best regards to all my friends and coworkers at the East side Norman Wal-Mart. For those of you not familiar with working at Wal-Mart, let me tell you that every day you step out on the sales floor you are entering battle. So in a sales sense, lets support our troops. My mother and I will be going to our nation's capital toward the end of the summer. Well, enjoy your day.

Have you ever studied too long? BLANKTON
I have. Strange words and phrases start swimming around in my mind. Like this.
I have all these tiny thoughts swimming around in the vast ocean of my mind. They eventually get swallowed up by the baleen whales in my brain , sifted and never to be thought of again. They are gone, blanked out of my mind. I call them blankton.

Tired legs, lots of sun, and a brave soul
Few things in life are better than a good run. Many of you might remember that over a year ago I had ACL reconstruction in my left knee. That sad August day when I injured my knee infused a bit of fear into me. I had been running all summer, and for the first time in my life started to enjoy it. But was it to be no more? I think not. Although my return to running has been slow and wrought with defeat, I have felt a comeback mounting. I looked fear in the face today and shouted. I shouted loudly. "Wind, you may blow, but you will not hold me back. Sun, you may shine those rays down upon me, but they will not hinder these legs. " Well, you get it. It just felt great.
So, if it is nice where you are, get outside and enjoy this great land God has made. Yeah, enjoy the heck out of it.
